Heya, I'm Derek.

I'm 16, British, an artist, loud music enthusiast and collector of all things ~20 years ago.

Now, since it's already common knowledge that I'm amazing spectacular and the queen of everything, you may be asking:

"But Derek, what do you like? Also, you are incredible! Hooray for Derek!"

...Okay, maybe not the last part, but in terms of media, I really like ~2000's Webtoons, 90's MTV cartoons, Sci-Fi (More specifically all of Star Trek), and Chiikawa. Just Chiikawa.

And if we're gonna get even more specific...

In terms of webtoons, I really enjoy Eddsworld (Like REALLY, #SpecialInterest), Happy Tree Friends, and Jasper And Ted (slash Bored Kids)

And in terms of "90's MTV cartoons", I mean Daria and MTV Downtown (Thank you Mum for introducing me to the wonderful world of 90s MTV toons I'm in heaven)

Now, like I said, I am VERY enthusiastic about loud crappy music, but what music exactly?

Well, I'm a huge fan of Rave, Breakcore, Nu-Metal, Industrial, and... 2000's Pop - Punk???

I love love love loevloveleoeveleoev LOVE music. It's like the best thing ever omg i'm frothing at the mouth rn

Now, more about me... I'm an artist, but WHAT do I even do with my life? Short answer? Not much. Long answer?

A bit of everything! I mostly do digital art or scrapbook pages, sometimes traditional, but I also do sculpture, I paint, I do a lot of fashion & I DIY.

My inspiration and idol for most of my art is Paul Ter Voorde! He's genuinely incredible when it comes to animation and illustration and I really hope that one day I can compare because he is geeenniiuss idk how he does it

Now, as for my collection, it's really anything I can get my hands on (#SpecialInterest), but mostly, it ranges into 2 categories, clothes and technology.

about 99% of my wardrobe is from charity shops, and every piece of clothing I buy from the charraz are usually ranged from ~10 to ~30 years old. I love 2000's fashion with all my heart, from "basic" outfits, to mall goth, to skater fashion, to boho, to McBling, to emo / scene... I could go on and on, it was just the best era for fashion (In my opinion, anyway.)

As for tech, I collect everything. Computers, consoles, CD's / DVD's, Vintage computer games, PS3 / PSP & DS games, SIM cards, Flip / Slide phones, DigiCams, Sony memory sticks, obscure cables... EVERYTHING. My most prized posession in this collection is probably my 1997 tower PC! It runs Windows 97, has a functioning floppy disc drive, a full TEN MB of RAM (I know, unfathomable),and is beautifully yellowed... unfortunately for me, the GPU has rotted, so I need to buy a new one... And turns out it's actually not that easy to track down vintage GPU's for cheap... at least the PC was free I guess. My oldest item is A Windows educational computer program about dinosaurs, programmed for Windows 3.1 in 1990!!!! I found it, along with several others at a charity shop for £1 each!! Unfortunately I was broke at the time, so I only got 3, the other 2 being Encarta95 and Cinemania95.

I adore old tech, although I missed the 2000s by a few months (nice going mum and dad) it makes me feel somewhat nostalgic.
